Bookstore Terms and Personal Study Licence

Effective from: 2026-10-24

Updated: 2026-10-25

These terms describe the Parle digital bookstore, its free samples and the personal study licence for purchased books. The Parle app is a separate product with its own terms.

Operator and privacy contact

Dong Ting (China) operates the Parle Books bookstore and is responsible for the bookstore’s processing of personal data. “Parle” in these bookstore policies refers to Parle Books. Contact: support@getparle.app.

These policies cover Parle Books. The Parle app is operated by Tingnova Inc. and has separate App terms and privacy information.

Parle and support

Parle Books is the publishing brand for these books. For product questions, file-access problems or bookstore requests, email support@getparle.app. Include the explanation language and, for an order, its reference. Do not send full payment-card numbers, passwords or one-time security codes.

What an edition includes

Each explanation-language edition brings together the French main course and three companion books. Payhip and Gumroad include four PDFs and four reflowable EPUBs. Lulu and Leanpub supply all four books in one combined EPUB, with no PDF or ZIP. The main-course PDF in the Payhip/Gumroad bundle has 256 pages; EPUBs have no fixed page count. English and Spanish explanation editions are separate purchases. You need software compatible with your chosen format. The free PDF sample shows part of the main course; it does not test your EPUB reader’s compatibility.

The book supports independent study without buying the Parle app. No recordings are included. Printed pronunciation guidance and scripts support rehearsal, not a test of listening or pronunciation. A0 is a starting label; the book does not award a qualification or guarantee a learning or exam result.

Price and free sample

Each option costs a one-time US$9.90 per explanation language plus applicable tax: the PDF + EPUB bundle on Payhip/Gumroad or the combined EPUB on Lulu or Leanpub. The order total is shown before payment. Review the edition, included files, currency and total before confirming.

The free PDF sample does not require an account or email signup. You can choose Payhip, Gumroad or an EPUB collection on Lulu or Leanpub using the links on the product page.

Checkout and the seller of the transaction

Book purchase links on this website lead to Payhip, Gumroad, Lulu or Leanpub. Those platforms provide their own checkout and order terms. Review the seller, price, taxes and access information shown before paying. Parle Books remains your contact for the book and product support.

Access to purchased files

After payment is confirmed, follow the access instructions in checkout and your order confirmation. Keep the order reference and a personal backup of your files. If access fails or you receive the wrong edition or an unreadable file, contact Parle support with the order reference and a description. No particular reading app, perpetual hosted link or future update is promised.

Personal study licence

You may use the files for your own study, keep a personal backup and print pages for your own practice. Do not resell, publicly post or redistribute the files. These permissions and restrictions do not limit rights granted by applicable law.

Problems, refunds and consumer rights

Contact support@getparle.app for product or delivery problems and refund requests. Refund handling follows the platform used for your order, its buyer terms and applicable law. Your statutory withdrawal, digital-content and other consumer rights remain unaffected. This page does not record a waiver of those rights.

Your chosen checkout

A Payhip, Gumroad, Lulu or Leanpub purchase uses that platform’s native checkout. Check its displayed price, taxes, access instructions and buyer terms. The Parle personal study licence and the relevant product description still apply.

Privacy and policy updates

The bookstore privacy notice explains visits, orders and support data. Published changes will carry a date. Changes do not remove mandatory rights or change the product description accepted for an existing order.
